Five Prayers Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Five Prayers mobile application ("the App") provided by Noor23 LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

Five Prayers is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. You may install and use the App on devices you own or control.

2. Religious Content

The App provides Islamic content including prayer times, Qibla direction, hadiths, Quran verses, and lessons. We make every reasonable effort to ensure accuracy of religious content, but the App is offered as a helpful tool — not as a substitute for consultation with qualified scholars or for the use of authoritative sources directly. Where there is doubt, defer to your local masjid, scholarly authority, or the original sources.

3. Accuracy of Prayer Times & Qibla

Prayer times are calculated based on your selected calculation method and GPS location, using the Al Adhan API. Qibla direction is calculated geometrically from your location to Mecca. While we aim for accuracy, you are responsible for verifying critical timings against your local masjid or trusted authority.

4. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data the App handles and how. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, logos, and original content, is owned by Noor23 LLC and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the App except as permitted by applicable law or by the platform store agreement under which you obtained it.

Religious texts (Quran verses, hadiths) are sourced from public collections and reproduced for educational use; their original rights remain with their original publishers and translators where applicable.

6. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that prayer times will be accurate to the second in every location.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Noor23 LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App, which for free downloads is zero.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted at this URL with the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
